I woke up and decided I better at least get into the camper and check things out, make a list of what I immediately see wrong, clean things up a bit, make a list of things I can buy for it. I have a few things in containers from the Little Red Camper Trailer but some of those I got rid of and some have been integrated back into the house.
I know it needs stairs into the back door and a large tarp, it needs a new queen size mattress, since there is nothing up there right now. Curtains too. It needs an outside door to one of the small storage areas like this one pictured but its on the other side.
Its already been painted part way inside so it would be grand if I can choose a new color and go for it in my own color choice. I could SO totally glamp out this camper!
When I go shopping today I'll check out the waterproof stuff that goes on the top, and if I happen to be at Lowes I'll check out their 'wrong color paint' to see if there is one I like.

Name Change
Mom has decided to change the name of this blog since I no longer live with them.
She has also decided that new camper gets to be the main guy.
What a let down, *I* want to be the main guy!!
She said she's going to keep posting pictures of my cousins that she sees so that's cool. Here is one that was at the Port Townsend ferry terminal last week, waiting to go on the ferry to Coupeville.
And here's the new guy on his own truck.
He needs a name and a LOT of work. Since he is home now Mom said she can begin fixing him up.

Replaced?
Have Mom & Dad replaced me?
Sure have!
With this VINTAGE slide in camper
It's not in good shape at all and there is no history with it.
This sink and stove are bigger and there is an oven.
The upper bed area, for the queen size bed, has no mattress and it sags.
Down below the windows there is a portable toilet.
And the table is AWESOME.
All it cost them was this aluminum boat that Dad picked up at the auction 5 years ago and never took to the water. Mom sorta MADE him trade.
Its not home yet because the jack stands aren't made for a dually truck and the truck won't fit between them. Mom & Dad need to get new jacks or borrow a truck to bring it home.

This Is Different
I have been moved to another cave, with the strangers who came to visit. He is Dave and his Pa had one of my cousins when Dave was small. Like me, I'm small.
But I miss Mom & Dad.
Here is another one of my cousins, he lives in Saguache, Colorado and
CHECK OUR HIS KICKS!
I think his birthday is the same as mine because his lid is the same and there isn't a big old cold wind maker in his face.

Strangers Visited
Today some strangers came to my cave to visit. Mom was with them and told them all about me, from when I was living under Grandpa's deck till now. I don't know what they were here for; They opened all my hidey spots & the man looked under my belly! Mom told them all about my new cushions Jane made for me and 'bout the hissing when we were camping at Gray Land. Dad keeps saying he's going to make me stop hissing.
I'm back in the cave again with Mus Tang and Miata. Miata still gets to go with Mom all the time while us other two just wait here.
Another long winter is on its way.

Back In The Big Cave
I've been put back in the big dark cave with '65 and Miata. I'm really glad too cuz it was cold outside this morning and that white stuff was all over me. Dad worked hard to get the cave ready for a long winter.
Wish he would tell me what a winter is.
He said him and Mom are going on another adventure and I can't go again.
Guess why?
Cuz I'm too slow.
Mom is slow. Here are pictures of Gray Land and Yurts.
Mom and Dad laughed lots with Chris and Mick.
They did Kissy Face on the beach at Sunset. Ick!

Camping... Without ME?
Mom & Dad went camping with out me, where they are Ho's?? Dad kept saying U-Da-Ho to mom & she would giggle. I think they got married again because they were talking about a Diamond Ring and 'clips.
Whatever. I didn't get to go. Dad said I'm too slow.
Now there is talk about Yurts and Gray Land; I have no idea what Yurts is but it sounds painful.
And who wants to look at Gray Land?
Our friends Chris and Mick will be there so maybe we'll all have fun. I know it was fun before when they were around and living right in our yard. Now I can live in theirs!
Dad has always hooked me up with Escape but Mom was asking if '65 could hook up to me. Dad is being grumpy & said '65 doesn't have a pigtail. '65's not a pig!
I'll be sure to get photos of me wherever we end up!

Camping Fun
Mom & dad took me on that 'venture and I had so much fun. We went to a place Mom said was American River Camp Ground but there were lots of other campers so we went to another place nearby called Kramer Flat.
Mom took this picture of my guts after we woke up, hehe.
I don't have my eye covers yet so Mom used towels and a table cloth to blind me. It worked OK but Mom said now that her sewin 'chine is fixed that I should get those covers soon.
I know Mom & Dad got cold the first night but the next night they were pretty warm. Mom said she's going to take blankets instead of sleeping bags next time.
Next time means we get to go again!!

More Adverturing
Mom & Dad have been packing me up again, said we're going on another adventure. Somewhere called American River at Mount Rainier.
Mom was talking about bears, bears getting into garbage.
What are bears?
Why do they like garbage?
I hope I don't have garbage to get into, I don't need bears.
But this adventure is going to be fun cuz Mom & Dad are taking me.
It will be our biggest adventure yet and we're all excited to go.

Another Brother
Mom brought home another brother for me and he's small, like me. His name is Chevy Metro but Mom said we will call him Egg.
Egg was born in 1998.
Egg came with jewelry.
I'm jealous, mom hasn't given me any jewels.
Mom went shopping for him and he got new swipers for his eyes.

Camping in the Nat'l Forest
Mom & Dad took me on the big adventure!
Went to a brown creek. 'Cept it wasn't brown at all.
Here I am, all decked out, nice and shiny with my top up.
I don't know what Mom & Dad want with that fire, I have a stove inside to cook their foods.
Mom snuck off and got a selfie of me.
Dad was nice and cozy inside.
What's he doing with those goofy eyes on?
Another selfie!

is Spring FINALLY Here?
I heard Mom & dad talking about going on an adventure, to the High Steel Bridge and camping there. I'm so excited, they will take me out of the cave and I'll get to go see some things.
This is a picture Mom took many years ago; I hope I don't fall down that hole.

The Other Cave
Dad put me in the other cave again, with Mustang
(who gets to wear a blankie???)
and the small as me, Miata.
Then he shoved a
Dri-Z-Air
Mom and Dad only took me on one adventure this summer and I'm bummed about that but its more than I went on for many years before that.

Dad gave me my feets back.
They are shiny white!
They were icky but he cleaned them up
Dad said he wants my white walls to show.
I don't know what white walls are.
I have walls around me and my tops are white
so maybe that's what dad means too?
Mom noticed there are a couple scratches on my white feets from the 'chine that put the tires on.
Dad says that can be fixed.

Dad got this rough white stuff out today and cleaned my feets.
They were all yucky and dirty and Dad said Rusty.
I don't know who Rusty is but he needs to stay off my feets.
But Dad got all the other old white and Rusty off.
And then Dad put more white on my feets.
They are starting to look dandy.

Fill 'Er Up
Mom has been coming inside me and putting bag after bag of stuff inside me, then leaving. Its all new stuff, she says its for the new cave Mom & Dad are going to be living in. I wonder if any of the new stuff is for inside me?
I'm kind of anxious to see my own new cave...

What Trailers Are Thankful For
Since its Thanksgiving and I have no idea what that means, I had to ask Miata. She shares the lighted cave with me and she gets to go everywhere with Mom. Miata said Thanksgiving is a day after she has to take Mom to the store to load up on lots of fruit and vegetation so Miata is thankful that the chore of carting all that stuff home is done.
I will say I am thankful for the lighted cave, its so much happier than the dark cave I shared last winter with Mus Tang.
Mom and Dad with on an adventure for two whole weeks, of course they left me behind even though they had told me I might be able to go. But Dad said without my LED eyes that I'm not street legal. I thought that was for race cars to does this mean I'm a race car?
While they were gone they found two of my brothers!
Whitey was under a nice canopy, living with hill billies near Lolo Pass in Idaho. He looks a bit run down but so was I not so very long ago.
Our other brother didn't want his photo taken, he was about ten miles away and his top was up and he wasn't looking so good. He was yella, a big scaredy cat.

New Cave
As promised, Mom and Dad cleaned out a new cave for me and Dad rolled me in yesterday. Just in time too because it started raining last night.
It looks a lot like my previous home with Grandma & Grandpa C., where I lived for 23 years.
I will admit I do look a lot better than I did one year ago.
What the heck is
that thing?
I don't looks so good. I need another bath and a good wax job.
I still need a few parts but I can be patient.
Mom still hasn't found me a new door knob.
Here is my new wrap, I can't wait to get it put up but I want Mom to do it right,
the first time.
So it's going to be sitting right here inside me until she has her ducks in a row.
But what are ducks? Are they like those beasties that came inside me this summer?
I have just enough head room to put my top up.
And that's where my new wrap will be.
See my one waxed spot that Dad did a long time ago? It's still a little shiny
but not a whole lot. I think living in this cave will be good for me.
Here's some funny gossip.
I just learned what gossip is! Mom was sitting inside me gossiping with Grandma B. about Behemoth and I was eavesdropping.
Anyway, they took him to that other country for the weekend and when he came back, he kicked the fence. Now the fence is broken and Behemoth has a scratch.
Mom wasn't too happy about it, now there is more work for Dad to do, fixin' that fence.
